G-β-CD

Glucosyl-β-cyclodextrin (G-β-CD) is a kind of β-cyclodextrin derivative, it is also called branched cyclodextrin, on the hydroxyl at the sixth carbon atom of some glucose residue of β-cyclodextrin couples to a glucose residues, then the G-β-CD generates. Compared with the common β-cyclodextrin, glucosyl derivative functional group has hydrophilic, so G-β-CD β-CD matrix has better hydrophilic and water-solubility.
