Recombinant Lipase

The whole name of Lipase is tri acylglycerol acylhydrolase, the substrate is a kind of special ester – tri acylglycerol ester, which is usually long chain fatty acid ester. Lipase can completely hydrolyze the oils and fat into glycerol and fatty acids. The recombinant lipase A has stereo selectivity, it can be used for optical resolution of racemates to produce chiral drugs or chiral intermediates.

Organic solvent tolerance

The lipase activity increases when it is in the 10-50% two dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), isopropyl ether and petroleum ether, in the low concentration (<25%) ethanol, acetone, iso amyl alcohol the activity increases; in 50% acetone and iso amyl alcohol its activity remained at the level of 50%, its activity will be lost when it is in 50% ethanol

Application：

It is used for biological catalysis method resolution of single enantiomer, such as non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which includes ketoprofen and naproxen, the substrate is 2- aryl propionic acid. It can be used for preparation of optical pure single enantiomers.
