Schisandra chinensis extract is extract of dried ripe fruit of Schisandra chinensis (turcz.) baill. The main effective components are lignans, such as Deoxyschizandrin, γ-Schizandrin, Schizandrin, Aomisin, Pseudo-r-Schizandrin, Schisantherin A, it also contains various volatile oil including pinene and other organic acids including citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid etc.
