Locust bean gum

Locust bean gum is plant seed gum processed from the locust tree seed produced in the Mediterranean. It is white or light yellow powder with no smell or light odor. It is mainly used as thickening agent, emulsifier and stabilizer in the food industry.

Its most important feature is that it has good gel synergistic effect with the agar, Danish agar, carrageenan , xanthan gum and other hydrocolloids, it can make the amount of composite gum is very low and it can improve the organizational structure of gel.
